Olivia grew up with her mother and father in the Philippines listening to her parent’s many intense lectures and simple words of wisdom echo through their small, well-loved home. One of the many lessons was… “Whatever you do in life, do it exceptionally well, and you’ll never go hungry” She watched her her parents work smart and hard as home cleaners with the highest work ethic that made their clients fall in love with them. “My parents left every home a little more special. They enjoyed giving, serving and operating a thriving cleaning business, so they were always grateful for being able to earn a living doing what they loved.”

When Olivia became a young adult, their teachings became her anchor. Determined to make her parents proud, she began cleaning homes in her country, just like her parents had, except in the big city and not her neighboring towns and villages. Her business thrived and Olivia saved money and moved to America, where she quickly opened up a cleaning business in her community. Her reputation grew quickly—not just for her spotless results but for her warm, caring personality. Clients would talk about the way she could make a home feel fresh and welcoming, as though she brought a little piece of herself into every room she cleaned.

Within two years, Olivia’s business was growing faster than she’d imagined. Realizing she couldn’t do it alone she hired her first employee, a single mom who needed steady work. Olivia was proud to offer her not just a job but a chance to regain confidence, independence, and financial security. That employee eventually started her own cleaning company in another area, they still remain good friends as they share cleaning tips with each other often. Helping others achieve their goals became as important to Olivia as cleaning homes.

One day, she met Gabe, a kindhearted, business savvy man who quickly saw the determination and heart that Olivia poured into her business. Gabe was raised in a family that valued hard work, having grown up helping his father with his janitorial company, which specialized in carpet cleaning. His years working for his dad taught him not only the technical side of cleaning but also the importance of quality work and customer service.

They continued to grow the company together while staying true to her original purpose: creating an encouraging, beneficial work environment for honest, hard-working people who are seeking opportunity and growth. Together since 2010, their approach with Olivia’s Home Cleaning became known not only for their thorough, detail-oriented cleaning but for the warmth and respect they brought into each customers home from their humble beginnings in the Philippines and New Jersey, and now to Bala Cynwyd, Philadelphia and surrounding areas.
